Kristaps Porzingis (right soleus strain) - OUT
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (Right Soleus Strain) is out for Game 5 Wednesday night against the Miami Heat.

Out of all the possible options this is one the better outcomes for the Celtics. Porzingis could return in as soon as three weeks according to some thought (Giannis has been out with the same issue for 3 weeks and has now been "upgraded" to "doubtful," hinting that his return is close.) though I wouldn't bet too much on that. The key is that there is now at least a realistic chance the Celtics would be back to full strength if they make the NBA Finals which begins five weeks from Thursday. The odds of the Celtics winning a title greatly increase with Porzingis on the floor than with him sidelined.
Celtics C Kristaps Porzingis is expected to miss a minimum of several games with the right soleus strain, sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/9qW4iR04jO
